Moroccan craftsmanship from Fez. The combination of copper and brass with hand-engraved patterns makes it not only a functional utensil for (Atay), but also a valuable work of art.

Because copper teapots have specific properties, here are some important points to consider before selling or using them:

Tinned on the Inside:

For safe daily use, a copper teapot should be tinned on the inside to prevent oxidation (copper poisoning).

Maintenance:

The natural patina is beloved, but for a lasting shine the pot can be polished with a mixture of lemon and salt or a copper polish.

Heat Source:

Moroccan teapots are generally suitable for gas or open fire; for induction, an adapter plate is usually required.

Maintenance (easy!):

Copper oxidizes naturally, so polish it with lemon and salt, vinegar and salt, or copper polish for a shine. Hand wash only, no dishwasher. Dry immediately to prevent stains.
