Moroccan Ceramic Sugar Bowl

Description

This is a Moroccan hand-painted ceramic sugar bowl (or mini sugar bowl / storage jar). It has all the classic features of Moroccan pottery:

• Conical (pointed) lid with a pointed knob on top – inspired by the traditional tagine lid that allows condensation to drip back.
• Hand-painted geometric and abstract patterns (diamonds, stripes, zigzags, Arabesque motifs) in vibrant colours such as blue, orange/red, green, white and black accents.
• Cylindrical or slightly tapering base, glazed on the inside and outside.

Specifically as a sugar bowl

It is also multifunctional: for sugar, coffee, herbs, spices, small sweets, nuts or as a decorative bowl.
